News: W5 SOLUTIONS TO ACQUIRE KT-SHELTER OY
12.03.2026 | Lappeenranta, Finland | The Swedish defence technology company W5 Solutions AB (publ) and the Finnish company KT-Shelter Oy have entered into an agreement under which W5 Solutions will acquire the entire share capital of KT-Shelter Oy. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.
Both companies are rapidly growing suppliers within the defence industry. The companies share strong synergies, particularly within their customer base and international defence networks. The acquisition strengthens KT-Shelter’s position in the market for military-grade aircraft shelters and supports the company’s continued international growth.

The purpose of the acquisition is to strengthen expertise, broaden the service offering and develop even stronger solutions for defence and security customers.

Following completion of the transaction, KT-Shelter will continue its operations as part of the W5 Solutions Group. KT-Shelter’s operations will continue as normal and existing contact persons will continue to serve customers and partners. The transaction does not require any actions from stakeholders.
