News: President of Finland Visits KT-Shelter Headquarters

30.01.2025 | KT-Shelter Oy, a developer of rapidly deployable shelter systems for defence and crisis response, was honoured to welcome the President of the Republic of Finland to its headquarters.

On 29 January 2025, President Alexander Stubb and his delegation visited KT-Shelter’s facility in Lappeenranta. The programme included an introduction to our integration hub, a walk-through of our test shelter, and a significant moment where the President formally approved the dispatch of a completed shelter system to its international destination.

The visit offered an opportunity to share KT-Shelter’s core mission and values, demonstrate our high-standard production capabilities, and discuss Finland’s defence industry development with both President Stubb and Chairman of the Defence Committee Jukka Kopra.
