News: Ambassador of Japan Visits KT-Shelter in Lappeenranta

13.03.2025 | KT-Shelter Oy, a Finnish expert in mobile defence infrastructure, was honoured to receive distinguished guests from the Embassy of Japan during a high-level visit to its production facility.

The Ambassador of Japan to Finland, Mr Okada, and Defence Attaché Tomemori visited KT-Shelter’s production and innovation site in Lappeenranta to learn more about our rapidly deployable shelter solutions and the technology behind them. During the visit, we presented how our systems are engineered for fast deployment, operational flexibility and harsh environments — requirements valued in both Finnish and Japanese defence sectors.

The discussions focused on innovation, export and opportunities for cooperation between Finland and Japan. We were pleased to see the delegation’s strong interest in our solutions and their positive feedback on our approach.
