KT‑Shelter provided a rapidly deployable shelter system to support surveillance aviation assets of a European border guard authority. The solution enhances operational readiness, maintenance capability and protection of airborne assets in varied European climates.

The shelter system is in operational use with a mixed fleet, including Airbus H215 Super Puma, Agusta-Bell AB/B 412 and Leonardo AW119 helicopters, as well as the Dornier DO-228 fixed-wing aircraft. These platforms serve demanding roles in border surveillance, maritime patrol and rescue operations, requiring high operational availability and flexible infrastructure.

In addition to providing a protected environment for aircraft and surveillance equipment, the shelter also strengthens multi-agency cooperation across European border zones. Its modular configuration allows rapid adaptation between different mission profiles — from aerial surveillance support to maintenance hubs and temporary command infrastructure. The improved operational resilience enables border agencies to sustain higher sortie rates, increase movement-monitoring coverage, and maintain mission tempo even in severe weather conditions or remote locations.

Border security relies on assets that must be ready to operate at any moment — our shelters make that possible, wherever they are deployed.
