The Japan Ministry of Defence has announced that it has awarded the public procurement contract for the next-generation Mobile Hangar solution to the Finnish company KT-Shelter Oy, further establishing the company’s presence in the Asian market.

The Finnish KT-Shelter Oy designs, manufactures and delivers large-scale sheltering solutions. With patented innovations, KT-Shelter Oy focuses on Mobility, Turn-key services, and Extreme durability for Defence and Security needs.

KT-Shelter Oy is set to deliver the first Mobile Hangar solution in 2024 to support the Japan Air Self-Defense Force’s operations. “We are proud that KT-Shelter’s solution has been selected, and we are looking forward to a close cooperation with our customer”, says Tommi Kasanen, the CEO of KT-Shelter Oy.
